Position Summary
The Women’s Mental Health Research Unit is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate an exciting research project focused on mental health in the menopause transition. The successful candidate will help enroll research participants, conduct psychiatric interviews, travel to participants’ homes in and around Saskatoon to conduct phlebotomies, and ensure the secure packaging and shipment of samples to the University of Regina. Hours are flexible and can range between 10-35 hours per week depending on the candidate’s availability and desire. Some evening and/or weekend availability is required. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to contribute to scientific manuscripts and conference abstracts. Excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in research and/or graduate school.
Position Requirements
Registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SNRA)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license and own car
Ability to work independently
Organized and conscientious

Physical Demands
Pay Grade As Per CUPE 5791 Research
Salary Range $37.82 to 49.09 per hour, depending on experience, plus compensation for mileage
