Position Summary
The position will involve working at Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, Regina Campus. This position involves providing support for two projects funded by CIHR and SHRF around population health outcomes. The position will include training and professional development opportunities as well as potential travel opportunities.
Position Requirements
1. Applicants are required to be currently registered as an undergraduate (preferably year 3 and 4 of the program) or graduate student at the University of Regina or other Canadian universities;
2. Strong search strategy skills; proficiency with searching in various academic databases (e.g., PubMed) as well as grey literature sources;
3. Experience of conducting qualitative research (qualitative data collection and data analysis) is a significant asset;
4. Experience with qualitative data analysis software (NVivo) is a significant asset;
5. Experience with citation and bibliographic software (e.g., EndNote) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
6. Excellent writing skills; ability to write for different audiences (academics, non-academics) is a strong asset;
7. Experience of conducting scoping review and/or systematic review is a significant asset;
8. Experience of working with Canva (for infographics, reports, presentation slides), and Covidence (software to assist with scoping and systematic reviews) is a strong asset;
9. Strong ability to work independently and as a team;
10. Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines is essential;
