Position Summary
The position will involve working at Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, Regina Campus. This position involves providing support for a SHRF project. The position will include training and professional development opportunities as well as potential travel opportunities.
Position Requirements
  1. Applicants are required to be currently registered as a graduate student at the University of Regina or other Canadian universities, or an undergraduate student (preferably year 3 and 4 of the program);
  2. Strong search strategy skills; proficiency with searching in various academic databases (e.g., PubMed) as well as grey literature sources;
  3. Experience of conducting qualitative research (qualitative data collection and data analysis) is a significant asset;
  4. Experience with qualitative data analysis software (NVivo) is a significant asset;
  5. Experience with citation and bibliographic software (e.g., EndNote) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  6. Excellent writing skills; ability to write for different audiences (academics, non-academics) is a strong asset;
  7. Experience of conducting scoping review and/or systematic review is a significant asset;
  8. Experience of working with Canva (for infographics, reports, presentation slides), and Covidence (software to assist with scoping and systematic reviews) is a strong asset;
  9. Strong ability to work independently and as a team;
  10. Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines is essential;
  11. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is essential
