Position Summary | The Faculty of Nursing invites applications for a full-time tenure track nursing faculty position in Regina. Rank (assistant, associate, or full professor) and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional experience and qualifications. The start date is negotiable but normally commences on July 1. |
Position Requirements | The successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice, evidence of a beginning program of research and publication and a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for teaching, including student advising, recruitment and retention. Successful candidates will be expected to use a variety of teaching modalities, including offering courses on-site and by distance delivery. Ideally, applicants will have recent (within five years) practice experience in their area of specialization. Hiring preference will be given to candidates who have completed a PhD. A minimum of one graduate degree in Nursing is preferred and the ability to practice as a nurse practitioner will be considered an asset. Applicants must be registered or eligible for unencumbered registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. The Faculty of Nursing will begin considering candidates mid January 2024. Interested candidates should have submitted all application materials by January 12, 2024. |
