Position Summary
To provide leadership, instruction, and supervision of children in various activities and sports. Coordinate various aquatic games and activities for the children. Instruct community swim lessons in the morning as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Be at least 16 as of June 1, 2023
  • Have related field work experience
  • Be enthusiastic and creative
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Have excellent organization and communication skills
  • Work well with children
  • Be willing to be in the pool everyday
  • Have CPR/First Aid
  • Red Cross Swim Kids Teachers Certification
  • NLS Certification
  • Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable sector)
Physical Demands
Pay Grade CUPE Phase 3
Salary Range 21.70 / hr
Status Casual
Work Hours
Assigned, based on availability, during operational pool hours (6:00 am-11:00 pm)
