Position Summary
SW 451 – Social Work Research
This course focuses on the contributions of research to effective social work practice and social policy. Emphasis is placed on understanding and critical assessing social work research, and on how to employ a variety of quantitative, qualitative, and community-based research methodologies to advance social work knowledge and practice.

MSW plus experience related to course content.

This course will be taught as a Blended delivery. Portions of the course will be taught online (async) AND there will be required remote delivery (sync) classes. The Instructor will select 5 class dates, TBD, as scheduled.  Classes will be on Tuesday’s 2:30 – 5:15 p.m.

The fall term is September 4 – December, 2024 (excluding exams).
